Well, I’m so glad you asked!

I’d like to take a few minutes to address Hiking in Heels sorority rush coaching program’s most frequently asked questions below.

“Why should I hire a sorority rush coach?”

You wouldn’t take the SAT without preparing in advance, would you? Of course not! So why settle for less during sorority recruitment?

When your daughter prepared for college, she might have worked with an SAT prep-course or tutor of some kind. Much like these classes prepared your daughter for success on the SAT, Hiking in Heels Sorority Rush Coaching prepares young ladies for sorority recruitment and maximizes their options, giving them the best chance for a successful recruitment at the college of their choosing.

Simply put – Hiking in Heels is here to help you with all the little things so you don’t have to stress about them.

For example, did you know that the Director of Recruitment Records ranks all rec letters (also called RIFS, or recruitment information forms) that are submitted on your behalf? Most sororities rank them on a scale from 1-5. If your rec writer doesn’t know you – the most you can get is a 2 or 3. Legacies automatically get a 5. It’s not your job to worry about these things. It’s ours to make sure your daughter is in-the-know, adequately prepared, and competitively positioned.

The most common compliment we receive from moms is, “thank you so much for taking all this off my plate. I’m so relieved I don’t have to continue worrying about this!”

sorority recruitment rush how to join a top sorority

“How early should I begin working with a sorority rush coach?”

Our clients typically fall into three categories:

  1. High school juniors and seniors
  2. Last-minute high school seniors who plan to participate in recruitment the immediate fall semester
  3. First-time sophomore rushees / transfer students
  4. Sophomore rushees (Freshmen who participated in rush their freshmen year and weren’t satisfied with the results, so they are rushing again – with professional help this time.)

The sooner your daughter begins working with a sorority recruitment coach, the better, as there are specific deadlines (for rec letters) and opportunities (summer rush invitations) for those who prepare early. However, there’s no “wrong” time to begin working with a coach.

Working with a sorority rush coach can substantially maximize your daughter’s chances of receiving a favorable bid.

Is this legit? Who are you and why are you qualified to assist ladies with the sorority recruitment process?

Yes! Hiking in Heels was founded by a University of Texas graduate that resides in Austin, TX, and frequently travels nationwide to coach all sorts of amazing, wonderful ladies.

Do you have references?

Absolutely. Due to the nature of the program and clients – Hiking in Heels has a strict confidentiality policy unless clients provide explicit permission to share their information. While some families prefer to remain anonymous, others are available to provide glowing references upon request.

Hiking in Heels has been interviewed by Business Insider and will be featured in the 2018 September issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine.

She was a University of Texas Delta Gamma for four amazing years, and she held various officer positions within the chapter. During that time, she was heavily involved in sorority recruitment and privy to all the behind-the-scenes information – like how the bid list is structured and the mathematical process behind recruitment cuts.

She learned a TON of information that can significantly help incoming freshmen. She launched this company because she wants to make going Greek attainable for all ladies – whether you’re from out of state and unfamiliar with the foreign process, or whether you’ve wanted to rush since you were 6 years old and just want to have the best chance possible to have a fun, successful rush.
